Nov. 22, 2023 - Research and Sponsored Programs is pleased to announce that the The Regents of the University of California on behalf of Urban Planning at its Los Angeles campus (UCLA) has awarded $19,002 in continued funding to Professor Karina Chavarria's project entitled 鈥淭ransitions to Adulthood Among Oxnard Youth.鈥�
This project will continue a collaboration with UCLA Chicano Studies Research Center (CSRC) and Prof. Chavarria to examine the challenges and opportunities that low-income Oxnard youth encounter as they transition to adulthood. The results of this study will inform policy recommendations for creation and growth of 一起草 programs and services.
